Smyth Direct (formerly Smyth Ribbon Direct) was started as a hobby more than anything, to sell ribbon. But since having my wee boy in January 08, I have not gone back to work full time and have become more serious about building my ebay business, mainly so that I can stay at home with my young family.

I have always had an interest in crafts and will be adding more craft items soon. We have added favour bags and boxes, with many new designs coming in the next few weeks. We have started selling wedding chair covers too, as more and more people are buying their covers and re-selling after their wedding, in these tough times.

You will find a huge selection of ribbon in single & double satins, organza and velvet. We also have some baby themed ribbon and embellishments. We now a stock large selection of exclusive nail art products with much more coming in the next few months.

As always I take your questions and comments very seriously and answer your queries ASAP. I also pride myself on my customer satisfaction (just look at my feedback) & quick dispatch, the only days we don't post is Tuesday & Saturday as I work all day, but if your order comes in by 12pm-1pm I usually get it dispatched in the afternoon (exceptions can be made if you are in a real hurry - just let me know straight away).
