Dreamlines Entertainment is an Irish based specialist distributor in Audio/Visual products. Aside from selling via e-bay, we distribute whole sale into a large number of independent and chain retail outlets throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Many of the products we sell on e-bay are exclusively available from us in Ireland. All products are sourced directly from the manufacturers and are new and sealed (unless otherwise stated). We do not sell either second hand or bootlegged product.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Damaged Items What if my item arrived damaged? The care we use with our merchandise can only go as far as the post office, and unfortunately packages do occasionally suffer damages in transit. Our policy for the replacement of such items is as follows:
- Send us a quick email explaining the situation either via e-bay or to info@dreamlines.ie
- We will respond on an individual case–by–case basis.
- If we have both agreed to a replacement item, we will ship this to you immediately.
- In rare cases when we require the return of the product, a full refund will be issued on receipt of the damaged item
Product Sourcing
WE DO NOT SELL BOOTLEGS, SECOND HAND GOODS, OR PLAY-COPIES.
Dreamlines is an independent specialist music and DVD distributor. Besides selling on e-bay we also distribute to shops and wholesalers in the Republic of Ireland. As such all of our goods have been sourced direct from the manufacturer. The majority of our products are factory sealed, but some products are “shop returns” meaning they are new, but returned from retails as unsold – these items may not be shrink-wrapped but are new and unplayed.
Responding to e-mails
We try to reply to all inquiries within 48hrs and usually sooner (excluding weekends or Irish Bank Holidays). This is not always possible but if you haven’t received a suitable response e-mail us again. We will deal with your query as soon as we can. Customer Service is as important on e-bay as it is in any other retail environment.
PAYMENT
Dreamlines preferred method of payment is by Paypal. For BUY NOW we have enforced an instant payment policy – this is due to abuse of our site by a rival vendor – who bought items purely to leave negative feedback with no intention of either paying or receiving the goods. We apologise to the 99.9% of honest e-bayers for any inconvenience that this may cause.
If problems arise with shipoping to unchecked territories or we have agreed discounts and the e-bay mechanism is blockibg a complete checkout, direct paypal payments can be sent to: info@dreamlines.ie - but please be sure to advise us that your payment has gonbe through!
Please include accurate shipping info with your payment, and enough information to link your payment to your specific item. For higher priced items (over €50.00) we generally ship by DHL. Please include a daytime phone number on these items as it assists the courier and ensures a fast, smooth, hassle-free delivery.
It is fully integrated and as soon as you verify your payment using the paypal link, the status of your order will be updated.
FEEDBACK
Will I get feedback? Dreamlines will always leave positive feedback on completed transactions but understand that buyers need to receive and evaluate the goods before reciprocating . We want to be sure we leave opportunity for our buyers to approach us with any issues or problems up to the end of the transaction and that we have the opportunity to fix any problems that may occur between payment and receipt of the item. Feedback is very important to us and we always try to have a positive conclusion to every transaction. We hope that buyers will reflect honestly on the results of their purchase in their own feedback.
Winner Notification It is our policy to try to notify all buyers within 24 hours (not including weekends or Irish Bank Holidays) of purchase of the projected date of delivery. This is not always possible however and on rare occasions someone may be overlooked due to human error on our part. Please be assured that, even if you haven’t received purchase notification, your order is still being processed and will be shipped as soon as possible.
SHIPPING
How long will shipping take?
Within Irealnd
We are based in the Republic of Ireland and use a number of different services for shipping around the world. All items shipped within Ireland are sent by regular An Post – with the exception of items priced €50 and over which are dent via FastWay Couriers. This is usually a 48 hour service but can take a little longer in more remote areas.
UK, Europe and the Rest of the World
From July 2008 onwards all lower priced items are shipped using DHLs new Global Mail business service. This service express delivers the item to the destination country where it enters the local postal system for delivery. Delivery times vary from country to country depending on local efficiency.
If you have not received your item within 10 days of receiving notice from us of the shipping date, contact us and we will endeavour to locate the item on your behalf.
Can I have faster shipping? For faster shipping or other express options on items under €50.00 please contact us. We are happy to tailor our service to your needs.
Can I add shipping insurance? Shipping insurance is currently unavailable on a per item basis. However, if an item is seriously damaged in the post contact us and we will work out a mutually agreeable solution.
Will you combine shipping charges? We will be happy to adjust shipping charges for multiple items. Contact us with your location, shipping info and the items you wish to purchase and we will get back to you with a total.
DVD QUESTIONS What is PAL / NTSC? There are 3 formats used for DVDs:
Europe and the UK use PAL format.
North America uses NTSC format ie. Canada and the US are the same.
SECAM is used by large chunks of Asia.
PAL and NTSC are not interchangeable unless you have a Multiregion DVD player designed to play both formats. Many DVD players now sold in Europe are Multi-region.
All our DVD items are PAL format unless otherwise stated. A few DVDs we sell are dual-sided PAL/NTSC.
Region what? The world is divided into different regions, and not all DVDs are playable in all regions. Most DVDs have one specific Region and are only playable on machines from that region.
· REGION 1 -- USA, Canada
· REGION 2 -- Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Greenland
· REGION 3 -- S. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Parts of South East Asia
· REGION 4 -- Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (including Mexico) – Region 4 DVDs are generally compatible with Region 2 and will play on European and Multi-region players
· REGION 5 -- Eastern Europe, Russia, India, Africa
· REGION 6 -- China
· REGION 0 or REGION ALL or REGION FREE -- Discs are uncoded and can be
played Worldwide . However, PAL discs must be played in a PAL-compatible unit and NTSC discs must be played in an NTSC-compatible unit.
All DVDs we sell are playable on regular European DVD Players. All DVDs we carry are Region 0, 2 or 2/4.
